OLED should flicker less than lcos, I think, and same with DLP.
The one thing about lcos, I think it does flicker a bit.
On the other hand, DLP projectors, which can have high intrascene contrast by projector standards, I believe is still low compared to OLED and possibly local dimming LED TVs (but this I have no idea about, someone else needs to confirm), so they might not bother you either. Epson's 3LCD on the other hand has a fraction of the contrast of OLED so that would fit.ĭo you remember what scenes specifically caused you problems? JVC has low intrascene contrast for mixed scenes so if that's what is bothering you, it is a good choice.
Click to expand.Could it be the high contrast of OLEDs and local dimming LED TVs? In scenes like Palpatine's reveal in Rise of Skywalker, with lightning in a black environment, it bothered my eyes, even in a room with white walls.
